Do I need to be a client or member of Barnabas Foundation in order to be considered as a potential speaker?

No, you do not need to have an official connection or partnership with Barnabas Foundation in order to be considered as a potential speaker. We welcome applicants from the broader Christian community. However, speakers must be in alignment with Barnabas Foundation’s Statement of Christian Faith, values and principles.

When and how will I know if my proposal has been accepted?

Proposals are accepted throughout the year, and our training needs are ongoing. There is no official submission cut-off date or date of acceptance. You will receive an immediate, automated confirmation that your form has been submitted, and then we will notify you if/when we have decided to move forward with your proposal. Will I be compensated for my presentation?

Compensation depends on a number of factors, including the needs of the event, the level of preparation and travel required, and the expertise of the speaker. In general, presenters for online training sessions do not receive compensation. Keynote speakers for large conference-type events may receive payments. In-person workshop presenters are generally compensated in the form of discounted conference registration fees.
